Thank you to the Rothenberger Family for sponsoring this event! Introductory theatre games and improvisation workshop for any age group. Approximately 30 minute workshop, followed by a short performance starring your library patrons for all to Laugh Together. All ages welcome! Registration is required. Call the library at 484-491-1278. Class size limited to 20 children and adults.

The Oley Valley Community Library is hosting its second Death Cafe as a way of bringing adult patrons together to have authentic conversation about the one thing we ALL have in common! Please come if you’re interested in some enlightening conversation. Bring your curiosity. AND, be prepared to laugh! Really! A Death Cafe is a safe place at which people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death — there’s no selling or hidden agenda. While the objective is “to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives,” you decide the topics that are discussed. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. It is a respectful and confidential space to express your views without judgement.
