A library exists to meet the needs of the community which it serves.  Let us know how the Oley Valley Community Library may help support a safe and engaged community where imagination and opportunity thrive.

The Oley Valley Community Library Currently Offers:

Over 9,000 print, DVD, and audio resources on hand.

Four computer stations with Internet and printer resources, an e-reader and 10 iPads.

Free High Speed Wifi for those with their own devices

Printer/scanner, fax service

County library van service to return books to other libraries in the county system. Simply drop off a book from another library and the van service will return it to the correct library. Books from our library returned to other libraries will find their way back to us!

Free passes to the Reading Museum and the Historical Society and the Elmwood Zoo

A  librarian on site to help with research and book selection.

Meetings of a Knitting Club, Lego Club, Preschool Story Time, Evening Story Time and Yoga, Adult Book Club, Networking Meetings, Public Board Meetings, Craft Nights, Steam Saturdays, Home School Workshops, Senior Workshops provided through Berks Encore and Friedens Church, local author signings and poetry readings as well as The Summer Reading Program in the summer.

Entertainment such as movie nights.

After school study location, tutor space, and a children’s area.
